For elementary-age children, could shared interactive exploration of a photograph provide a rich, engaging alternative to dominant social-media models?

That's the premise of "Image Tale", a proposal the KidCitizen team submitted to the OpenIDEA challenge "Designing for Digital Thriving".

And we made the first evaluation cut!

Update:

While “Image Tale” did well in this IDEO challenge, it did not get funded. We continue to believe it’s a strong idea, and we will keep our eyes out for other opportunities to develop the concept, as our busy schedule allows!.
